This position requires a blend of skills and experience that is focused on inventory planning, analysis and management. The Inventory Manager will be able to complete the following objectives over the course of the first year of employment:

  • Design and implement MRP system for manufactured items
    • Set reorder points
    • Set minimum order quantities
    • Design reorder timing and methodology
  • Design and implement MRP system for purchased items
    • Set reorder points
    • Set minimum order quantities
    • Design reorder timing and methodology
  • Design and implement Item Management system for manufactured items
    • Demand order through production entry
    • New part numbers
    • Production cost and profitability analysis
  • Implement Physical Count system
    • Quarterly fort A level items
    • Semi-annually for B level items
    • Annually for C level items
    • Implement bar codes at all physical inventory locations
    • Implement software and process to conduct physical count
  • Implement Supplier Partnership program
    • Create and document supplier qualification requirements
    • Create process for supplier relationship metrics
    • Communicate Supplier Partnership program to all employees

Specific Position Requirements
Significant experience with Sage 100 is preferred, but not mandatory.  Candidates with demonstrated Sage 100 experience will be considered above candidates with experience with other ERP systems.

This position requires a blend of skills and experience that are focused on inventory, production and receiving of goods.  The Materials Coordinator would be responsible for maintaining records concerned with ordering and storing of materials within the facility.

Basic Tasks Required

  • Coordinate and expedite flow of materials, parts and assemblies between departments according to shipping schedules or department priorities
  • Review production schedules and communicate with department managers to determine material requirements
  • Validate received merchandise to description details from original purchase order
  • Arrange transfer of materials to meet production schedules
  • Compile data from sources such as purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, etc. and maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records.
  • Work with vendors to determine lead time for all required materials order and coordinate deliveries. Order stock, tooling and other items for production and maintenance.
  • Move/transport materials from one area to another manually or using material handling equipment
  • Receive all inbound purchased product
  • Accurately tag and properly store inbound inventory
  • Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized

General Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience with Inventory systems
  • Ability to drive a forklift, pallet jack and overhead crane
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated, hard working
  • Hold a valid drivers license
  • S. Citizen
  • HS graduate or GED

We are seeking an individual who would like to take their first step towards becoming a CNC Machinist to join our growing team. The CNC Machinist Apprentice will focus on learning how to make both prototype and small production jobs from start to finish using the latest CNC machine technology.

  • Responsible for learning a CNC mill, lathe and/or grinder to produce prototype and small production jobs to completion.
  • Inspect parts using calipers, dial indicators and Renishaw probes on the mill.
  • Learn to set up and modify machine programs
  • Build work holding fixtures

General Requirements

  • Machine Shop experience a plus, but not required
  • Able to convert metric/inch

Other Requirements Include

  • Basic computer knowledge in Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Solidworks, a plus but not required
  • Able to troubleshoot with minimal instruction
  • Able to lift 50 pounds frequently
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Able to operate a forklift, pallet jack and overhead crane
