OFFICE SUPPORT ASSISTANT – PART TIME

Do you need flexibility around your kids’ schedules?  Do you go to school and need a job that works with your class schedule?  Do you want to be able to select the days and hours that you work?  We are able to offer that great work-life-balance at our company!

We believe Bluco employees deserve the best, so we work hard to make sure we’ve got top-notch employee perks.  We are seeking an individual who would like to join our growing team as a part time Office Assistant who will be responsible for handling administrative functions supporting various departments of the company. We are able to provide this individual with a flexible schedule working 15-20 hours per week, with an option for possible additional hours, if wanted.

Basic Tasks:

  • Scan and maintain files in Paperless Office
  • Organize credit card receipts
  • Sort and send mail
  • Assist with trade show logistics
  • Manage Marketing ad schedule
  • Manage promotional item inventory
  • Source graphic supplies
  • Handle weekly lunch program
  • Manage apparel reimbursements
  • Company event coordination
  • Additional office tasks as needed

General Requirements:

  • Able to work independently

CNC PROGRAMMER

Bluco Corporation has been designing and supplying precision modular fixturing systems to the welding and fabricating industry for over 30 years. With our continued growth, we are always looking for motivated individuals to join our team, and create a life long career doing what you love!

Basic Tasks:

  • Use Mastercam to write programs
  • Use Vericut to verify programs
  • Use Productivity Plus to write regimes
  • Test new methodologies
  • Manage cutting tool library/inventory
  • Create CNC Program setup documentation
  • Research tools as needed to keep Bluco on the cutting edge

General Requirements:

  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Blueprint reading
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Able to operate a forklift, pallet jack and overhead crane
  • Ability to recognize errors in the g code and make edits prior to machining the work piece
  • 3 years of experience in CNC setup and programming

MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN

We are seeking an individual who would like to join our growing team as a Manufacturing Technician. The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for assembling our finished products, inspecting and repairing returning parts, assisting the CNC Machinists delivering material needed for the machines, and other duties. We will train the right candidate who is willing to learn about CNC machine technology and motivated to start a career in CNC Machining. Bluco Corporation has been designing and supplying precision modular fixturing systems to the welding and fabricating industry for over 30 years. With our continued growth, we are always looking for hard-working, professional individuals to join our family.

Basic Tasks:

  • Assemble finished products (carts, rollovers, workstations, etc)
  • Assemble, disassemble and clean fixtures used for CNC milling
  • Setup CNC cutting tools and measure with Tool Presetter
  • Use Faro Tracker to inspect flatness of finished products
  • Deburr parts coming off CNC machines
  • Saw cut raw material to print needed for CNC department
  • Laser mark part numbers on finished goods
  • Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized

General Requirements:

  • Able to convert metric/inch
  • Able to troubleshoot with minimal instruction
  • Able to lift 50 pounds frequently
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Able to operate a forklift, pallet jack and overhead crane

PART TIME MANUFACTURING WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

*** GREAT FOR STUDENTS – FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE ***

Our manufacturing company, Bluco Corporation (Naperville, IL) strives to deliver high quality products and services and we are looking for an individual to work as a part time Manufacturing Shop Associate as part of our Warehouse team. This position will work closely with the Warehouse Manager performing various tasks along with learning valuable skills.  We are flexible around student schedules and can provide training for all tasks.

Basic Tasks:

  • Assembly of steel parts
  • Laser marking many items including in-house custom parts and those manufactured from outside suppliers
  • Cleaning of equipment and machine parts for reconditioning purposes
  • Pack items for shipment to outside vendors
  • Stock new inventory into designated storage areas
  • Identify product quality issues when unpacking and packing shipments
  • Perform quarterly and annual physical counts of inventory
  • Move inventory around showroom and warehouse as needed
  • Build shipping crates or special sized pallets as needed
  • Light assembly and disassembly responsibilities
  • Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized

General Requirements:

  • Able to convert metric/inch
  • Able to troubleshoot with minimal instruction
  • Able to lift 50 pounds frequently
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Able to operate or willing to learn to operate a forklift, pallet jack and overhead crane
  • Keep workplace immaculate
  • Perform miscellaneous building maintenance tasks occasionally (i.e. water flowers, shovel front walk, clean outside windows, etc.)
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
