ACCURATE SUBS, FASTER FINAL ASSEMBLY
The concept for this modular welding solution included a series of tacking stations as well as the marriage fixtures shown below. The tacking stations would ensure the dimensional accuracy of the sub-assemblies being fed to the larger marriage fixtures. Vertical u-forms were included to help automatically square everything up for final assembly.

OPEN DESIGN, EASIER REACH
The open design of the modular welding fixtures allows welders to easily reach their welds. It also allows for a large number of clamps and stops to be placed, and allows subs to be added and squared one by one as they’re completed.

FINAL ASSEMBLY 2X FASTER
The result of a modular welding solution was an assembly process that not only yielded dimensionally accurate builds, but also produced them in half the time as rigging up fixturing by hand. The modular welding fixtures made the process easier, freeing up staff to work on other projects where their skills were truly needed.
