What if I need on-site support?

Just ask! If you’re a Bluco customer, you can request training or troubleshooting for as long as you own your solution. We can try to resolve your issue over the phone or through an online/virtual meeting, or we can make arrangements to come to your facility in person.

What if I have a question about my modular solution?

That’s what we’re here for. Just call, text or email your Application Engineer and they’ll get back to you with an answer as soon as possible. If you’re not sure who to contact, you can always email [email protected].

When does training take place?

Your application engineer will work with you to schedule training when it makes the most sense for your production needs. Our goal is to get you up and running as quickly as possible.

How much does training cost?

There is no cost for the initial training we provide after system installation. To request additional training after your system is in use, just reach out to your application engineer or email [email protected]. Whether you have new welders or machinists that need to learn about Bluco modular fixturing, or you’re interested in hearing tips and tricks that you might not have discovered on your own, we can provide the expert training you need.

How long does training take?

Most training takes only a few hours. If your solution is more advanced, or you have a very large team, it may take longer. Once training is complete, you’ll have CAD models of all your fixtures to use as reference when building or rebuilding a fixture. Or, you can always reach out with additional questions by emailing your application engineer or [email protected]. You can also reach us by filling out the form on the Contact Us page.

Do you offer consulting on welding or machining processes?

Yes – process improvement is one of our passions. When you work with us on a solution, we consider more than how to hold your parts. We’ll look for ways to shave time off your production, eliminate downtime and improve final part quality. While a modular solution will help you achieve those things, sometimes stepping back to look at the bigger picture is the key to unlocking exponential improvement. For that, we encourage manufacturers to take advantage of BluPrint — a comprehensive roadmap to success that includes expert analysis of your process and workflows. Maybe your welding sequence needs to be reordered. Maybe you need to re-position your part. Whatever the rough spots are, we’ll help you find and eliminate them so you can bring higher quality parts to market faster.

Can you design additional fixtures using a system I already own?

Yes! If you’re an existing Bluco customer, one of the best ways to maximize the return on investment of your modular solution is to expand its use to additional parts or additional fixture designs. Just upload your CAD files on the Connect With Our Team page. One of our application engineers will contact you to to provide a quote for the design your fixtures. Once the designs are ready, we’ll review them with you virtually. Then they’re all yours to bring to life. If you’d like our engineers to help you build, we can also provide that service.
