Our manufacturing company, Bluco Corporation, has been designing and supplying precision modular fixturing to the welding and fabricating industry for over 35 years. We are seeking a Sales Technical Coordinator who will serve as an integral link between customers, the sales team and engineering.

This role requires not only strong organizational skills, but also the technical chops to interpret CAD models, perform light design work and apply product knowledge in support of customer requests. Acting as the hub of the sales process, the Sales Technical Coordinator will ensure projects move smoothly from inquiry to execution by connecting multiple teams, maintaining accurate technical documentation and keeping everyone aligned.

What you will be doing when you join our company:

 

  • Support inbound sales inquiries and project initiation by applying technical product knowledge
  • Assist sales team in coordinating customer visits to Validation Center, ensuring necessary inventory is identified and staged based on CAD designs
  • Transfer project files into the PDM system to ensure engineering team has access to current fixture models
  • Manage post-project reviews to capture technical solution effectiveness and identify strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement
  • Evaluate components sent in under RMA to determine condition and warranty eligibility.
  • Assess returned materials for condition of reuse (CRE)
  • Oversee updates to sales CAD library, including part numbers and geometry changes
  • Respond to customer questions about product pricing, lead times and availability
  • Manage customer FTP sites, portal registrations and access requests
  • Support business development by researching and identifying prospective companies who have not yet engaged with Bluco
  • Assist the sales team researching past customer activity and account history to identify opportunities
  • Organize and maintain digital library, including product photos, customer information and technical data
  • Prepare and send product quote requests to customers
  • Support trade show coordination, including timelines, booth setup, equipment needs and vendor coordination

 

What we need from you to apply:

 

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Engineers or Engineering Technology
  • Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Metal fabrication experience a plus
  • Strong oral communications skills and the ability to engage easily via phone
  • Strong written communication skills, able to communicate professionally and effectively via email
  • Good computer skills, including all MS Office products
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems with minimal instruction
  • Quality focused/shows pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work well with others and work in a team environment

 

Other needs include:

 

  • Ability to occasionally lift, push and/or pull 50 lbs.
