Our basic rollover fixture includes a pair of universal adapter plates on the headstock and tailstock to secure fixtures. These adapter plates are compatible with any of Bluco’s modular spines, allowing for more project versatility. Heavy duty casters allow the fixture to be moved with ease, and a foot brake can be locked to keep the rollover fixture from moving. A large captain’s wheel with hand brake is all that’s needed to roll the fixture to a desired position.

The picture frame rollover fixtures are designed with four modular blocks pinned together to form a rectangle between the headstock and tailstock. These modular blocks have the same precision hole pattern as our welding tables and tooling components. A number of different configurations can be made with various sized modular blocks, depending on the rollover application. All of the modular blocks are machined to exact tolerances and hardened to last a lifetime. Speak to one of our engineers to help choose the right options for your shop.

Manual Positioner for Lighting Truss

manual positioner

A manual positioner with our modular tooling between the headstock and tailstock provides a simple tool to use in order to flip parts upside down for welding. These lightweight aluminum trusses for stage lighting are loaded into a modular fixture that can be adjusted for various lengths. All of the modular tooling is precision-machined and hardened. Unlike big, bulky dedicated fixtures that take up valuable floor space and rust, this tooling can be disassembled and stored in a cabinet or shelves.

Rotating Weld Fixture for Pinsetter

This rotating weld fixture includes a modular window frame design between headstock and tailstock. The center spine can be customized to lengths ranging from 1,000 mm (40”) to 2,000 mm (78”). The window frame fixture can be easily adjusted up or down to find the center of gravity for smooth rotation. Fixturing and clamping components can be added to any of the precision bores on the top and side surfaces of the window frame fixture, creating unlimited fixturing possibilities.

Face Plate Rollover Fixtures

Modular Face Plate Option
2000 x 700mm (78” x 28”)

Our face plate rollover fixtures are designed for parts that need to attach to a single faceplate rather than a headstock and tailstock rollover. We offer both a universal faceplate design and a family of modular faceplates with our precision pattern of bores included. All of our standard tooling fits nicely in the modular faceplates giving the user plenty of options to choose from when building a fixture. The extendable wheel base provides a solid, sturdy structure when rotating parts manually.

Weld Positioner with Modular Faceplate

weld positioner

Our weld positioner outfitted with a modular faceplate can be manually rotated into a desired position by releasing the hand brake and turning the large captain’s wheel. The modular faceplate has a pattern of precision bores for both clamping elements and locating components. Sizes range from 600 mm (26″) up to 1000mm (39″) diameter. Fixturing kits are available from stock, and include outrigger angles, stop bars, locating pins, and a variety of clamping options. Our engineers can also tailor a kit to match your specific needs.

We offer both heavy duty modular rollover fixtures (capacity up to 3,300 lbs) and lighter duty versions (capacity up to 430 lbs) depending on the application. Our engineers can help select the rollover model to match the application. Each modular rollover fixture has a pair of unique adjustable head and tailstock interface plates which allows the user to adjust the center spine up or down to help balance the center of gravity. An optional rotating ground connector is available for those who want to weld on the fixture without getting the cords tangled during rotation.

Modular Welding Positioner for Small Parts

modular welding positioner

Our weld positioner outfitted with a modular faceplate can be manually rotated into a desired position by releasing the hand brake and turning the large captain’s wheel. The modular faceplate has a pattern of precision bores for both clamping elements and locating components. Sizes range from 600 mm (26″) up to 1000mm (39″) diameter. Fixturing kits are available from stock, and include outrigger angles, stop bars, locating pins and a variety of clamping options. Our engineers can also tailor a kit to match your specific needs.

Roll Over Fixtures for Window Frames

roll over fixtures
Modular roll over fixtures are easy to set up and use when building large parts like this window frame. Lightweight outriggers pin to the center spine and can be adjusted for different length frames. Drop-in clamps fit into any hole and are used to secure the part during rotation. Regardless of how tall the person welding is or the size of the part being clamped, the fixture can be rotated to a comfortable working height. Various base sizes are available to choose from depending how big or small your parts are. Speak to one of our engineers to help select the right size for your shop.

Rotating Positioner for Generator Base

Rotating Positioner

A rotating positioner designed with a heavy-duty modular spine between the head and tailstock holds a generator base frame for weld out. Designed using CAD, this weld fixture has an adjustable center spine to perfectly balance the center of gravity. The load capacity of this welding positioner is rated at 3,000 pounds. Higher and lower capacity models are also available. Choose from many standard models or work with our experienced design engineers to help design a weld positioner to fit your application needs.

Adjustable Welding Fixtures for Fuel Tanks

Setup jig Bluco
Our engineers specialize in designing adjustable welding fixtures for any type of weldment. Starting with a single modular beam between a headstock and tailstock, modular angles, stops, and clamps are added to hold a wide size range of fuel tanks. This fixture also is designed to manually rotate 360 degrees in order to reach some of the more difficult areas of the part. After this smaller fuel tank is welded out, the welder can quickly adjust the tooling for a wider, longer tank. There is no limit to the number of setups that can be built with a Bluco modular system.

Modular Welding Positioner for Door Frames

welding positioner
The center spine of our modular welding positioner has a series of accurate bores which can be used for clamping or attaching outriggers. The outrigger angles can extend up to 600 mm (26”) off either side of the 200 mm (8”) wide center spine. With outrigger angles off of both sides, the rollover fixture can support up to a 60″ wide door frame. These angles are available in both hardened steel and a lightweight aluminum-titanium material. The center spine is made of hardened machined steel to resist weld spatter buildup.

Rollover Weld Fixture for Corrugated Panels

Rotating weld fixture
Lightweight aluminum-titanium outrigger angles added to this rollover weld fixture support the varying widths of these corrugated panels without adding unnecessary weight to the fixture. To reach the various joints for welding, the rollover fixture can rotate a full 360° in 22.5° increments. Welders will enjoy the ease of use this rollover offers in setting different positions for weld out. Bending over to weld tough to reach areas are a thing of the past – simply rotate the fixture to the desired setting and work in a more comfortable, safe position.

40” x 80” Rotating Weld Table

Setup jig Bluco
To convert a stationary weld table into a rotating weld table, simply remove the fixed legs and mount the plate between the head and tailstock of our manual rollover positioner. Table sizes range from 1,000 x 1,000 mm (40” x 40”) up to 1,200 x 2,400 mm (4’ x 8’). The rotating positioners can be spun freely 360 degrees with positive locking in 22.5 degree increments. When rotation is no longer needed, the plate can be taken off the rollover fixture and mounted back on fixed legs for more traditional welding.

Rotary Pipe Welding Fixtures

pipe welding fixtures
Our engineers worked with a customer to develop pipe welding fixtures that allowed both pre-tacking and full weld-out on a mobile cart. The cart has a modular base block that holds a manual rollover headstock which can be moved anywhere there are holes. The other end of the base block is a pair of flange alignment plates used to hold flanges in the correct orientation for welding. Each plate can accommodate 1/2″ thru 8″ pipe diameter flanges.
